Does DarkBird replace my PSA?

No. DarkBird is designed to complement ConnectWise Manage and HaloPSA, not replace them. Your PSA stays your system of record for delivery, time tracking, and billing. DarkBird fills the labor estimation gap that PSAs have never tried to solve.

Does DarkBird replace my CPQ?

No. Quoter and CW CPQ are excellent at pricing products with distributor precision. DarkBird prices the labor column: the 30–50% of the quote where the guesswork lives. Both tools together give you a complete, accurate quote.

How do AI credits work?

Every plan includes a monthly AI credit allocation that covers scoping sessions, SOW generation, and Smart Card Builder usage from a single gauge. When credits run low you'll see a progress indicator in your dashboard. Starter and Pro plans can purchase one top-up pack per billing period for extra runway, after that, credits reset at the start of the next month. Enterprise customers connect their own AI API key and have no credit limits.

What does the Trial include?

The Trial gives you full Pro access for 45 days, every feature, unlimited users, unlimited projects, no credit card required. Your AI credit allocation is generous enough to scope real projects and build a meaningful card library. At the end of the trial you choose a plan and a billing cycle; nothing is deleted.

Do I have to commit to an annual contract?

No. Both Starter and Pro are available month-to-month, cancel anytime. Annual billing is offered as a discount — roughly 17% off the monthly rate — for teams that want to lock in the lower price, not as a requirement. The prices shown by default ($349 Starter, $699 Pro) are the annual rate; the monthly rate is about 20% higher.

When does the feedback loop start working?

Day-1 value comes from Smart Card Builder and the SOW generator. The Performance Feedback Loop: Automatic Card Calibration, Smart Recommendations, Install Card Accuracy, shows meaningful signal after 8–10 archived projects, typically 60–120 days of normal volume.

Which PSA integrations are supported?

DarkBird natively integrates with ConnectWise Manage and HaloPSA, one PSA per organization. Both integrations are built end-to-end: push WBS as tickets, pull time entries for actuals, link projects from the scoping dialog. Other integrations are on the roadmap; Enterprise customers can discuss custom integrations.

What is the Enterprise plan?

Enterprise is a boutique engagement for organizations with specific infrastructure requirements, custom AI routing via your own API key, dedicated integration work, single-tenant deployment, SSO/SAML (roadmap), and white-glove onboarding.
