This Privacy Policy describes how InfoSprout LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the DarkBird application (the "App"). This policy specifically addresses the privacy practices concerning the data of our direct users (i.e., the businesses and their authorized personnel using the App) and does not cover the processing of client data that our business users store within the App. The processing of such client data is governed by our Terms of Service and any applicable Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect About Our Business Users
We collect several types of information from and about the businesses and their authorized personnel who use our App, including:
- Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect information such as your business name, contact person's name, business email address, phone number, billing address, and payment information.
- User Credentials: Usernames and passwords used to access your DarkBird account.
- Usage Data: Information about how you access and use the App, such as your activity within the App, features you use, the time and date of your visit, IP address, browser type, and other diagnostic data. This helps us understand how our business users interact with the App.
- Device Information: Information about the device you use to access the App, including your device's unique device identifiers, operating system, type of mobile browser, and mobile network information.
- Communications: Records of your correspondence with us for support or other inquiries.
2. How We Use Information About Our Business Users
We use the information we collect about our business users for various purposes, including:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our App and its services to you.
- To manage your account and provide you with customer support.

We also implement security measures for the Client Data you store in the App, as outlined in our Terms of Service and any DPA. However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our App. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.

We will retain your personal information as a business user only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
